Best Movie Grand Prix at Trento Film Festival
A Tunnel wins the Golden Genziana Grand Prix in Trento! It is the first time when a film that represents the guest country triumphs at the Trento Film Festival!
The Jury statement says:
′′ An extraordinary proximity, a sense for the visual atmosphere and an excellent tune with the structural imbalances of power are the basis of a film that says a lot about our current period of geopolitical tensions, disputed identities and a globalized world of work and work capital. Dramatic but never exaggerated, the film identifies the events of a small village as a clash between past and future, between those who have and those who don't have, in which we all play a role ".
The international jury of Trento Film Festival 2020 was composed of Spanish director and artist Carlos Casas; Matteo Della Bordella, Italian mountaineer; New Zealand journalist and film critic Carmen Gray; Georgian director Salomé Jashi and Gustav Hofer, film maker and Italian reporter.
